new toys.

i got a canon powershot a530. it's a 5 megapixel digital camera that will accompany me on my trip to israel in january. i've tested it out by taking some bud shots (heh) and the quality is pretty good.. you can see crystals on a closeup. i currently have a 1gb card but sg suggests i pick up another because i'll probably need some more space.

yeah.. tonight starts my first real weekend of winter break. i am gonna go out and chill with some friends that i haven't seen for a while. i bet it'll be good times, good times. and i'll soak my brain in headies as well. and then xmas (or should i say dexmas) is on monday. oh god. the best day of the year, hands down.

don't....

eat at burger king. ever.

*vomits up his whopper*

i survived, motherfuckers.

school is officially over. i had my last exam last night. and i passed everything (as far as i know right now). i even ended up getting a c- in finance, which is a huge accomplishment for me. muahaha. the only really hard classes i have left are management analysis and managerial accounting (ouch!). but i'm gonna try to take those during summer session, so it shouldn't be too bad.

it's time to get faced.

geek out.

what have i been doing this weekend? really, not much. pretty much just puffed and chilled.. and worked on my web project for my emerging technologies class. i hate programming. especially asp. and sql is useful but annoying. i only have one and a half weeks of class left. so sweet.. and i'm done with exams on the 20th. super werd. i can't wait for break so i can get faded (without feeling guilty) and play madd computer and video games. speaking of my computer.. i just did a pretty decent upgrade.

i swapped my motherboard out for that soyo board i got a while ago, and ordered my p4 3.4e prescott. i installed that and coincidentally, my last ide drive started making funny noises. i pulled it out.. sure enough, an ibm desk(death)star from 2003. to replace it, i orded a 250gb wd sata3 drive from newegg, and an aluminum external enclosure to go with it that utilizes esata. hurray. now i'm running all data drives. and today i just ordered a geforce 7800gs. supposedly, it's the best solution for agp. i know, i'm a pussy and should have bought a core 2 duo with pci-e but i'm a broke ass on a budget. werd?
